Vaulter Club’s Madison Kast Takes First Place at IE Championships

(Murrieta, CA) Saturday April 23, 2016, Inland Empire athletes from around the Riverside area met for the Inland Empire Meet in Murrieta, California. The event was held at Vista Murrieta High School and brings in many top athletes and schools from around the area. Vaulter Club represented in a huge way at these meets with five pole vaulters taking home medals and  the overall Frosh / Soph Girls Champion.

Madison Kast won the Frosh/Soph section overall with a jump of 10’6″ as a freshman with Vaulter Club. The Murrieta Valley High School team has no other girl pole vaulters so this really helped the school put a spotlight on the event. Hopefully with her leadership and skill they will be able to get the once packed team filled back up again with pole vaulters.
