Vaulter Club Athletes take first Place at League

Wednesday May 6, 2015 turned out to be quite the day for the area athletes, Vaulter Club and even better day for first place winners Alex Ungrady, Brynna Close, and Ryan Polakiewicz.

Right after her recent PR jump of 11’7″ and breaking her high school record (Great oak High School) this Vaulter Club athlete Alex Ungrady comes out and takes first place at the South West League Championships. Such a big month for Alex, first the high school record being broken and now the SWL Champ in Murrieta, California! She’s put in the hard work and hopes to break even more PR’s with her sights set to pole vault at a University in San Diego. This young lady is no stranger to working hard and putting in the hours. Good luck and see you at CIF!

Also a Vaulter Club athlete, Brynna Close has put forth the effort and the effort has paid off with a big PR and taking first place at the Inland Empire League Championships. Her coach is expecting big things going into CIF next week and Brynna Close will definitely push herself to the limits. Brynna Close is a senior and has already signed to go to Pacific University in Oregon! Good luck and see you at CIF!

Vaulter Club’s Ryan Polakiewicz never let’s us down, with hard work and always pressing the limits.  This young man has worked and continues to do what it takes to press for the next bar. Constant face at pole vault gymnastics, Reno Pole Vault Summit Trip and all activities that we had to offer. Ryan Polakiewicz (Great Oak High School) takes first place at the South West League Championships in Murrieta, California. Very well deserving and right on track for the next round at CIF 2015. Good luck and see you at CIF!

Many of our athletes also placed second and third place throughout the state and many more still jumping tomorrow. No matter what place you came in, you competed and did so with your shoulders back and chin up! Good on you and keep on trucking, you could easily be on the stand next time. Looking forward to seeing the results come in! Good luck and we will be there for the next round ready to go!
