BIO and Information

I am a Senior at Vista Murrieta and started pole vaulting the season of my freshman year. Previously, I was a gymnast for about 6 years and one of my coaches who I really looked up to had a daughter that was a pole vaulter. I began realizing my height hindered my abilities in gymnastics and decided I would try pole vaulting once track season came around. I didn’t know much about the sport when I started, but immediately I began realizing it was something I really liked to do. I continued with it throughout the next few years of high school and made it to CIF Prelims my sophomore and Junior year. I hope to make it much further this upcoming season!

Hobbies and Interests

I have played the flute for over 8 years and play both flute and piccolo in my school’s top wind ensemble. I was part of the marching band for the years 2015 and 2016 and traveled to Grand Nationals held in Indianapolis, Indiana in 2016. Other than music, I love coaching gymnastics at one of the old gyms I attended. I am also a part of National Honor Society, California Scholarship Federation, and my school’s Link Crew program.

I enjoy taking classes in science and hope to major in Biology with a minor in music. I would like to Pole Vault on a college team somewhere in the US, and hope to break my school’s record early on in the high school season.
