Grade - High School - Height - Weight
Junior - Vista Murrieta High School - 5'6 - 127 lbs
BIO and Information
I am beginning my junior year at Vista Murrieta after having transferred from Chaparral High School. In February 2018, I will be pole vaulting for 2 years. I was never a gymnast before joining pole vaulting. I was born in Poland and moved to Chicago, Illinois when I was six years old. In Chicago, I tried a bunch of different sports like soccer and cheer (3rd grade) , but I ended up playing volleyball from 5th grade to freshmen year. My family moved to California in 2016 where I transferred to Chaparral High School, joined track, and later Vaulter Club. I didn't like pole vault in the beginning as much as I do now. This year I transferred to Vista Murrieta because we moved into the district. Other than pole vault, I have also thrown javelin a couple times in a competition over the summer. I've ended summer season with a PR of 8'6, but I am looking forward to reaching higher heights and learning more this fall season.
Hobbies and Interests
Outside of pole vaulting, I love to read and draw. My favorite genre is historical fiction and I love drawing/painting things like landscapes and people. I love to travel especially with my family. We have been to many places in Europe like England, Italy, and Germany, we've also visited most of the states in the USA, Canada, and Mexico. I also love to go four wheeling and go on hikes. I've recently taken up scuba diving. I have a 4.0 GPA in school and am looking to raise it this year and senior year. I can speak polish and English and after graduating high school I will be multilingual (learning Spanish). I hope to get more involved in school this year by joining more clubs
